I'd hate to be labelled as one of those men that won't stop moaning about their illness (as if I would ever winge and moan about anything) but this infection/illness I have is really draining. I think I may have expected too much of myself to go back to work so quickly, led, in part by a false sense of security brought about by our family visit to the beach yesterday on the Bank Holiday.  But then when you're at the beach, you don't tend to do anything more taxing than a little bit of football, catch or rock pool exploration - (lots of crustations and fry to be found).

Listening to Fleetwood Mac and Depeche Mode will get me through the day. I'm hoping that pasta will give me enough energy to get through tomorrow... and lots nore Fleetwood Mac.

It's Jenny's Birthday today. I feel a little bad for her because she's working (in a temporary capacity) tonight and due to Bank Holiday traffic last night we weren't able to get to sainsbury's in time to get a cake and celebrate last night. We are planning an evening out on Thursday as a joint birthday bit of fun!

... and damn you too Sainsbury's! I went to the local village near work at lunch "for something to do" and ventured in to Sainsbury's because I was getting far too tempted by the Domino's individual lunchtime pizza offer (Damn you too Domino's) and ended up buying two 500g packets of Chocolate Digestives and subsequently eating three quarters of a pack to myself!

Totally hypocritical considering I have never given blood (I tend to go pale, fall over and vomit at the meer sight of a needle) but I think it's a good cause - so Give Blood.

Today has gone well. Infact I've been in such a good mood today that I think I probably drove Kerry bonkers at work.

It all went pear shaped when I dissmembered a frog while mowing the back garden. I feel really bad... there's a frog hiding out somewhere in our garden with one eye and two fingers on one hand! I feel bad!

After receiving this in my inbox this morning I have removed The photo of the loverrrly Jennifer Aniston. In reflection I did get a little too paparazzi! Instead the photo's will take pride of place on my desktop... with a little touch of Photshop here and there I'll soon be stood next to Jen with a big miniacal grin on my face!
