Beeston Castle

We went to Beeston Castle for a break from the cabin fever we experience each weekend, especially during the wet, cold, windy months on Sunday. It was a glorious day and some fresh air and somewhere for the kids to run around and explore was a must.

It was a great day all in all... Both bailey and Bella never got bored exploring on the walk up to the castle and running around the structure itself. Bailey even made a friend at the top and made plans to see each other next time... (how we still aren't sure)! It was a very enjoyable afternoon, the structure itself took my breath away and the views from the top were amazing - though we had trouble getting our bearings - and well worth the entrance fee.

Inspiration

I've been inspired by a lot of things recently, I've been getting back into The Stones, Pink Floyd , New Order and various other musical influences from my past along with looking at Jenny Saville, Janet Bell and Gustav Klimt (among others too many to mention). I've been working on an inspiration section for this site, so that while I'm browsing if I find an image I like, I can store it for future reference - it's more for my use than anyone else, but then so is this entire site. I have also arranged for my timber to be delivered for my studio in the garden, so with luck in a few weeks I'll be out there till all hours painting and getting 'arty'... I can't wait.

Customized sneakers and t-shirts

I see that Pilgrimsoul has had a small facelift with a new link of customized sneakers and screen printed t-shirts available, of which I own two!

At last - I have the website back up again... ok, it's not exactly how I envisaged it, but it's up and running and I can post to it. More importantly I can now concentrate on design over function!

It's been a mental week already, will post an update tonight when i get the chance.
